About the Author

Tom Gunning, Ed. D, is Professor Emeritus, Southern Connecticut State University, where he was director of the Reading Clinic.

Tom has taught at all levels and has been a reading specialist in inner-city schools in Philadelphia and Hartford.

Tom is the author of several reading programs and more than a dozen books on literacy. Four of his most recent texts are listed below.
